The Chautauqua is a time for sharing ideas, networking, learning, and playing together in a
supportive and relaxed environment. Spend five memorable days with other families at Westwind -
a beautiful, secluded, north Pacific coastal retreat center. Westwind is located near the majestic
Cascade Head, north of Lincoln City, Oregon.
Come join us for:
Accommodations include a large beachfront lodge with a commercial kitchen and smaller rustic cabins with bunk beds. Most of the cabins are an uphill hike from the lodge. Families bring their own bedding.
Due to the size of the event, families usually need to share cabins. Tenting is an option, if you prefer your privacy. There are flush toilets and hot showers located near the lodge.
The price, $220 per person / $175 for Weekend Only (Early Bird Registration $195 /$150 Weekend Only per person before March 1, 2012 ), $95 children ages 2-4, and babes 0-1 years old are free, includes the stay at the camp and vegetarian meals (breakfast and dinner). Families bring their own lunch and snack fixings. To encourage an atmosphere of cooperation and to keep the price down, everyone participates in presenting activities and workshops for each other (optional), cooking, cleaning up after meals, and cleaning the site at the end of camp.
